Using the app
The screen turns off while I wear it. Wear mode keeps the screen awake for as long as it is open. Tap the kippa on the home screen to enter it. If the screen still sleeps, check that Low Power Mode is off.
How do I get back out of wear mode? Swipe down.
Where did the Design button go? Open Styles and tap the kippa you want to work on — one tap opens it in the designer. The "New style" tile at the top starts a fresh one.
Nothing happens when I tap the kippa in wear mode. Check that "Amen on tap" is switched on in Settings, and that your phone is not on silent.
My emblem will not move. Drag it with one finger, pinch with two to resize, twist with two to rotate. It stops at the stitched edge on purpose.
Purchases
I bought Plus on another iPhone. Open Settings in the app and tap "Restore purchases". Purchases follow your Apple Account, not your device.
How do I cancel Plus monthly? iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → iKippa Plus → Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and we cannot cancel it for you.
Can I get a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — Apple is the seller for every App Store purchase, and only Apple can grant or refuse one. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not operate a refund scheme of our own, and a bug does not automatically mean a refund; see section 9 of the Terms. If something is broken, though, please do tell us — we would rather fix it.
I was charged and Plus is not active. Try "Restore purchases" first. If that does not work, email us with the app version from Settings and we will help you sort it out.
The serious bit
Can I use it as a real kippa? No. It is a joke — a good one, we hope. iKippa is not a religious article and satisfies no religious obligation. If it matters, wear a real one and ask your rabbi. The full Entertainment Only disclaimer explains why, and where the app should not be used.
Is a design of mine sent anywhere? No. Everything stays on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud device backup if you use one. See the privacy policy.
